Chocolate covered Strawberries

I brought an outstandingly good dark chocolate block home from Florence’s and we dipped strawberries. Let me say this, it doesn’t get any better than chocolate and ripe juicy strawberries and I think Lilly and Stevie would agree!

I think she is in Heaven!

No one said this was going to be a clean dessert! There is a little pink bug with jelly bean for a tummy on the table. Those are the love bugs Stevie took as valentine’s for his school! Too cute!

I can't figure out how to get more than one photo using flickr in each blog post. Frustrating. Anyway this is Stevie's classroom and Lilly enjoying Valentine goodies with them!

Stevie had a great Valentine's Day party. They worked on manners, charted candy harts, and passed out valentines. I think Stevie had a great time. The class even had Lilly join in the fun!

I really wish I could have gone, but I was working at the candy store. I can't tell you the job is a bad one seeing that I get to eat as much chocolate as I want....yumm. Lets just say its good I only work there on the holidays....

100 day party

DSC_0131, originally uploaded by madrysdale.

Stevie and I are counting orange, pasta wheels. I can't ever get over how fast kids pick up new concepts. And being that he is my child, he is the fastest and the brightest of course... ;) Once he counted out 100 pasta wheels, he took his prize to school and they did all kinds of fun games and activities all related to 100. He had a great day!

Wow it has been a while!

My very beautiful, smart, wonderful extremely insightful friend suggested I start up my blog again to not only stay connected to my far away husband, but also document our lives. She is, of course, right. It will give me a chance to unload from the day in a positive way. Thank you Jen!!! What a fabulous friend you are!

Fishing

We had a wonderful fishing trip...all of us...Adam, Mom, Dad, Steve, Lilly, Stevie, Daisy and myself. PS we left the kitchen sink at home. We had to take two boats to get us all down the river. We had a lot of fun.

Lilly reeled in her first fish today and loved every minute of it. She told Papa she didn't want to touch it..."it is too big, I will touch one my size....little" she said. So cute.

This is us letting our fish go. Even Daisy was facinated!

I love this shot...they are tieing on a fly and both trying to see the hole where the line is supposed to go! Love it.

This is the other boat. I didn't get many pictures of Steve, Stevie or Ad because we didn't keep the same floating schedule.

Look close, I love the face Stevie is making...very typical of him!

Yeah Baby!! I still have the moves.

Lilly fell asleep just like this and slept like this for about a hour and a half. This postion is about the only way she could sleep with the life vest and to keep the sun out of her eyes.

Uncle Ad.

A "Lilly size fish she was willing to touch. Daisy is sniffing away.

Papa's big helper!
